家裡的internet回來了

從前兩個星期多前突然家裡就沒有wifi 信號， 大概是網費用完了，但一直沒有時間去處理，直到兩天前，連續熬夜四天四夜之後的一個清晨才又機會去交。

但是，一天後還是沒有internet。

應該是modem之類的硬件壞掉吧，那又擱置不理一個星期。 到了今天，是非常難得的，從農曆年假回來之後沒有過的連續兩天週末假期，（touchwood）兩天都不用回公司，一時間覺得時間不知道怎麼用！醒來就洗衣服，打掃，然後打電話給CNC（用英文）叫人來修理，同時，也叫物業的余師傅來修家裡的燈，順帶一提，家裡客廳和廁所的燈已經壞了超過三個月了。

CNC的人在電話後兩個小時內就到，絕對要比香港的PCCW要好太多太多，另外可能是因為我用在音頻目錄一開始就選英文，根本不用等就有真人回應，感覺太好了！

Technician 一來就發現不是硬件的問題，只是router出問題。頂，我竟然會犯這類低級錯誤，太過分啦！ 但值得開心的是我距離很多人誤會我正在投身的“IT行業”有遠一步喇。

Just got internet backed up.. so excited.. but when I get online, I found out I have no idea what to do..

天呀

太太太太多東西想寫，但根本沒有時間，就算回到家裡也找不到力氣去寫下甚麼！雪下完了，集體暖氣也停供了，到北京也快一年了。


如果不是我左右兩戶一齊裝修的話我會多寫一點的。但是現在太煩躁喇！！還是會公司relax一下比較好。

不僅僅是豆漿油條專家

雖然沒有節目，但假日還是要過。慵懶的醒來，看些網頁，玩玩陳舊的電腦遊戲，直至徹底失去興志，關上只玩了半局的遊戲時，驚覺星期六就這樣只剩下兩個半小時就要過去了。同時間，也意味着數年來首次一個人的情人節快要在無驚無險的情況下拉下帷幕。 獨自一人，雖然對吃沒啥要求，但肚子還是不可以就這樣空著，特別是在大病初癒的時候。

因為中午已經把家裡剩下的食物都吃完，在快十點鐘的北京就只有投靠電話外賣一路。65073338， “不僅僅是豆漿油條專家”永和大王的接線生兩秒內就準備好為我的五臟廟進行救緩。

“永和大王XXXXXXXXX（太快聽不到）XXX幫你？”

“定餐的”
“一個肉鬆飯團..”

“沒有飯團。”

“那.. 一個滷肉飯”

“沒有米飯。”

有點不知所措的我，開始在外賣傳單上搜索比較適合病後吃的東西。
“一個大王半筋半肉麵”

“取消了。”

“......"
“那....... 一個豆漿”

“還有呢？”

“你們還有甚麼？”

“xxxxx麵,xxxxx麵,xxxxx麵 （太快聽不到）和 番茄牛肉麵。”

“番茄牛肉麵吧，就這樣。”


大王的部下在我打到半筋半肉麵果行的時候已經到我家樓下了。

始終是用英文就手D..
What did I do on 2008..? Best to summarise it on the first day of 2009!

I welcomed the arrival of 2008 in Brisbane together with Dorothy, we didn't went out to the streets but instead we bought some snacks and champagne back to the above average backpacker hostel (private toilet and big twin bed). Nothing dramatic but it was a nice, warm beginning of the year. We then went to a big exhibition of Andy Warhol the next day.. amazing that an art exhibition can become a month long attraction for the whole city! We then traveled north and based in Cairns spent a good 6-7 days there. 2 nights we spent on a sailboat called avatar, a semi-luxurious (on the outside) survival (in the inside) boat trip. Pretty challenging like an outward bound trip but was a great memorable experience. Extremely funny that there were lots of jumping fish and one hit Dorothy's back. Really clear nightsky that we could see the milky way..

And so we came back to HK.. and I decided to take a good rest. Originally planned to do so right after leaving yuco around September 2007 but fate led me to join Menfond for 3 months to work on the adidas project 'therook'. So afterwards I have some extra cash in pocket to be lazy for longer. Tried to make my own website but not successful.. then made a few illustrations that I was pretty happy with.. and was so lucky that because I lived a much more regular life at that time so I could discover my grandma's emergency one night around February. Had a hot debate with mom whether we should dial 999 and till now I insisted we should. Mom called the property management that night and have them to call the ambulence. Anyhow my grandma survived the threat that she believed what should have her killed. For many years she claimed there was a vision when she was younger that at some point around the year of 2007 she should die. So somehow I thought I saved her as I promised when I was small.

March.. I was drying up my reserve then I decided to take a few jobs and the bigger one was a HSBC green credit card website. I did most of the flash production.. it was reasonably succesful given the short time, budget and a ridiculous 30s/40s single woman client. However for me it was totally not up to standard so the project was nothing good but paying my bills.

and then it came the opportunity again, Dave said there is headcount in Ogilvy BJ again for hiring so he asked me (more seriously) if I am interested in joining. Been thinking about it.. talked to parents and Dorothy, then the rest were easy.. sending resumes and a few phone calls and I was on the plane to beijing on April28th. It was a weekday that dorothy couldn't go to the airport with me. She stayed in my place helped me to pack up till 3 something.. She cried in my shoulders. That was nice and very sad. Was very grateful that ykc went to the airport with me.
